Howling Cascades

The River rushes down over a rocky cliff into a crystaline blue pool below. All around there are cliffs even taller than where the waters fall from. And into the side of one of those cliffs at its base is a dark entrance to a cave - that within sparkles with life as small beams of light flicker on the wall. For as with the floor of the pool of water, the walls within the cave are naturally decorated with colorful and shining stones - mostly of blues, purples and greens with a few other colors as well. But why the place is called the Howling Cascades, it is because some think the rush of water sounds like a howl, whilst others speculate that the dark entrance is the gateway to hell or at least a place where others may well have died and now haunt the area.
